Designed for students of all gender identities, this course focuses on understanding biologically female physiology across the lifespan and explores how female responses to stimuli compare to male counterparts. While emphasizing the function of physiologic systems, this course considers what it means to decenter our understanding of biologically male bodies in health care and explores the intersections of female physiology and social constructions of what it means to be a woman across the gender spectrum. This course is especially recommended for students pursuing health professions.
